A Short History of Nearly Everything

by

A fantastic, accessible and often hilarious walk through the trials and tribulations of human development and the many¬†ingenious, lucky and often bizarre events that have lead us on the path to the present day. ¬†As usual, Bryson informs and entertains in equal measure, turning his inquisitive eye over all of human history in an effort to answer the question ‘how did we get here?’

A fantastic book, if everything about science was written this way it would be a far larger field.
