A Short History of Nearly Everything

by

A fantastic, accessible and often hilarious walk through the trials and tribulations of human development and the many ingenious, lucky and often bizarre events that have lead us on the path to the present day.  As usual, Bryson informs and entertains in equal measure, turning his inquisitive eye over all of human history in an effort to answer the question ‘how did we get here?’

A fantastic book, if everything about science was written this way it would be a far larger field.
